Gute Organisation, nettes Personal, gutes Essen und schöne Radtouren durch ein schönes Land. Gerne wieder

Hallo Boat Bike Team, das Desaster begann schon bei der Buchung der Fahrräder. Ich buchte 1E-Bike. Bestätigt wurde 1E-Bike und 1Standart Leihfahrrad. Ich wollte die Buchung so abändern dass ich 1eigenes E-Bike mitnehmen wollte,was abgelehnt wurde mit der Begründung, dass die 2Wochen-Frist abgelaufen ist. Daraufhin buchte ich ein zwietes E-Bike nach, was noch möglich war. Ich schließe darraus dass es bei Boat Bike nur um den Provit ging. Während der Reise traten Probleme an einem der E-Bikes auf (Rappelgräusche,schlecht funktionierende Bremsen) die nach Meldung beim Personal keine Reaktionen auslösten. Das Essen während unseres Aufenthaltes auf dem Schiff war eine einzige Katastrophe. Für einen Erwachsenen viel zu kleine Portionen. Qualität der Speisen mangelhaft wegen schlampiger Zubereitung. Ich beanstandete dies bei dem Reiseleiter der als einziger an Bord die deutschen Sprache verstand. Ich bkamm zur Antwort dass er nicht der Koch sei. Desweiteren mußten wir uns bei jeder Mahlzeit einen Salat der in einer Schüssel serviert wurde mit zwei für uns völlig unbekannten Reiseteilnehmern teilen mußten. Weshalb wir dennoch 2 Sterne vergeben, ist die Tatsache daß die App nach der wir fahren konten sehr gut ausgeabeitet ist, und tägliche Tourenbesprechung hilfreich war. Auch die Tourenbeschreibung mit Angaben der Knotenpunkte ist gut ausgearbeitet. mit freundlichen Grüßen Jürgen und Birgit Petry

^Fahrt war schön,auch ohne bike.Frühstück sehr früh und dann schon „abgegrast“.Immer erfreulich,wenn das Schiff mitten in der Stadt festmachen kann.Insgesamt nach 4 Fahrten ohne Rad,würde ich die Tour noch verstärkt auch Z.B. Paaren anbieten von denen nur einer an den großenTouren teilnehmen kann.Vor allem in den kleineren Städten kann man auch gut noch nachmittags rumfahren oder laufen.

The ship, itself, was lovely. Our room was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. (It was, at times too hot. But it was explained that only the heat OR the air-conditioning could be on, and since we were just in early spring, the temps fluctuated from highs to lows. We managed by keeping our window open) Every member of the crew was personable, helpful, and fun. The food was delicious – the chef constantly amazed us! The tour guides were also personable, knowledgeable and fun. My husband and I bike a lot, so we always felt safe and comfortable riding. But some of the less experienced riders seemed to struggle with the Netherlands “biking culture” (all the bike, motorbikes and car traffic mixed in). We chose to ride e-bikes and we absolutely loved the bikes. Ours were perfectly sized for us, comfortable and easy to ride! All in all, it was a perfect 5 days of riding through tulip fields, enjoying the scenery along with the company of our fellow travelers. Then relaxing every evening on board. With just about 40 passengers on the ship, we felt that we could get to know everyone! Just when we thought it was all over, our last day ending with our ship cruising right through the city of Amsterdam back to port! It was an amazing experience!

The boat Zwaantje was comfortable and clean . The crew , were all very hospitable and friendly , so much so that this was our second trip with them. Highly recommended Boston crew The guides Peter n Hans were awesome Highly recommend guides

The boat/bike tulip tour was more than we expected. The crew of the ship felt like family and the guests onboard were all very welcoming. The biking with e-bikes was amazing. The guides made sure that the bike was adjusted perfectly to your liking. Hans and Peter were very knowledgeable and passionate about biking and provided us with lots of history/culture of the Netherlands. They were lots of fun and easy to talk too and answered all questions. We had a briefing every evening after dinner to inform us of the next days events, which we really liked. The boat, Zwaantje was immaculate. The crew were very well organized and provided us with delicious meals and lovely accommodation. The captain and his crew went out of their way to be sure everyone had what they needed. We felt very safe on the boat and on the bike tours. We were well informed about the vast number of cyclists in the Netherlands and to be careful when biking and walking. Some of the highlights of this trip of course was seeing the fields of colourful tulips, hyacinths and daffodils. Visiting the Keukenhof gardens was so impressive and a once in a life time experience. We visited a authentic cheese farmer who was very passionate about her farm…a delight for us as we come from a farm too. Visiting the flower auction was something you wouldn’t want to miss. Biking through the countryside was breathtaking. Seeing the canals, windmills, animals and stopping in the small quaint towns was so beautiful. Everyone was so friendly! Overall this was a once in a lifetime trip for us that we will treasure in our hearts. The crew and guides were over the top and made our stay extra special. Thank you Martyn, Brando, Karin, Frank, Peter and Hans for a fun, well planned, organized trip!

The staff on our boat bike tours were excellent. They were willing to accommodate those who could not bike and the days were very well planned. Our chef was awesome, so that meant the food was excellent.
